Description

WSET Level 4 Awards in Wine- D2 Wine Business Online

The WSET Diploma consists of 6 units which need to be successfully completed and exams passed, for the student to achieve the WSET Diploma. D1 and D2 must be studied at the beginning of a Diploma program and the D1 exam sat first.

Level 4, D2 Wine Business Online involves 6 weeks of guided study, following a weekly structure that nevertheless allows you to work ahead or catch up on the activities and forums. There are no set times to log into the course as there are no live chats or webinars. Online study is guided by a WSET educator. You can contact the educator any time for the duration of the scheduled course, should you have any questions. Like all online Units of the Diploma, D1 Wine Production includes independent and/or group activities that require students to look in depth at the topic.

The Level 4 Online course, Wine Business D2 covers the same syllabus as the classroom course, but through a supported and interactive Online Classroom which allows you to study alongside your peers under the guidance of a dedicated educator. Please note that the exam is completed in person in New York City at International Wine Center on Tuesday June 9th, 2020 at 11:30am, not online.

This course covers the dynamics of the global wine market. It discusses the factors that impact the supply, demand and pricing of wines; the different types of business entities engaged in the production, distribution and sale of wine; marketing considerations; and the legislative and regulatory factors that impact the wine industry.

Deadline for registration is 5:00pm on Friday, March 20th, 2020

Price for this course: £445
